Transpiration - Luke

We did an experiment to see plants do transpiration. We cut off leaves from plants and put them in a bag and set it in the sun. After 15 minutes there was already some water inside the bag. I know that during photosynthesis plants release water into the air. When I opened up the bag the leaves were real wet.

Do you think the water would have been the bag if you had put the bag in a dark place?
All those green leaves you see everywhere in the sunlight make all the food you and I and every living thing on this planet eats! Amazing stuff, huh!?
