Grandma and Grandpa really ...Dear Luke and Elijah--
Grandma and Grandpa really liked your poem recitations. I don't know whether you are interested or not, but Grandma found 2 more verses of the poem in a hymnal. Here they are. If you practice them, the next time I am over to put you kids to bed we can SING them all. I'll teach you the tune. Here are ALL the verses:

All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.

NEW VERSE
Each little flower that opens, each little bird that sings,
God made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountains, the river running by,
The sunset and the morning that brightens up the sky.

The cold wind in the winter, the pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden--He made them every one.

NEW VERSE
The tall trees in the greenwood, the meadows where we play,
The flowers by the water we gather every day.

He gave us eyes to see them, and lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty, Who do-eth all things well.

OK, I'm practicing so we can say/sing this poem next time we get together! Can't wait!

We love you, Grandma and Grandpacarolwilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03118891398027881369noreply@blogger.com
